You can use the wording below in your messages to clients to let them know about what is meant by minor revisions being included in their legal service
Include this snippet in your client message sending the deliverable:
Now that I’ve delivered the [Insert Deliverable Name], you have 30 days to request that I make any minor revisions. Please note that minor revisions are those that will take me 30 minutes or less to make to the [Insert Deliverable Name]. The need for revisions beyond that are considered major revisions.
Major revisions - or requests to make even minor revisions beyond 30 days from today - are both considered a new service and will need a new agreed to scope of work and pricing.
Please let me know asap whether you need any minor changes or what the new or changed needs are and I’ll review them so we can discuss and, if needed, agree on a new scope of work and pricing.
